Artist's Comments

Her name is Morphera, another of my mages. And no - she's not named after me, nor am I named after her. Confusing, eh...? :giggle:

She happens to be named after Morpheusz [link] , who was her mother's cousin and the best friend of her father, Nathanael [link] (and yes, he was obviously man enough to be able to reproduce...). As you can see, she inherited her father's grey hair. That must indeed be a tough thing for a young girl.

Note: The print-version doesn't contain a watermark, and the signature is smaller and less visible.

...

Thanks for looking! :)

That waist...looks famillar...>.> Oh well. Its so pretty! Hey, the grey hair makes her looks exotic. I'd think she'd be pleased. I love her dress. I want to steal it. But then there's the whole 'no clothes=bad' thing and I dont want to get pegged in the head with whatever foot wear she has on...

Lovely...THe corner design looks familiar...like I've seen it as a tattoo on someones bicep.

But I LOVE the detail you put into it...nice work

First of all, I love the costume design, it looks like something that might be seen in a fantasy movie, yet very original (I love the armor on her torso!). The tassles at the bottom and the pattern of the brocade are lovely details. Another thing that I like about this image is the texturing, it makes the fabric look very real (before I full-viewed this, I thought you might have used a textile overlay) and takes away that flatness that digital art is sometimes known for ;). I also love how symmetrical this piece is -- I tend to be critical of pieces that are overly symmetrical because artists can rarely pull it off, bu tyou definitely did here and it works really well with the magical theme implied by the title! Great job

I passionately hate the idea of being with it, I think an artist has always to be out of step with his time.
